4. How to disable cookies?


Control through browser: The common used browsers (for instance Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari) accept cookies as default setting, but such setting can be modified by the user in any moment. The user is the "the physical person to which personal data refer" (art. 4, comma 1, let. i, d.lgs 196/2003). Each user has the right, in whatever moment, to get the confirmation about the fact that such data exists or not and to know the content and the origin, verify their correctness or ask for a completion or an updating, or ask for a modification (art 7 d.lgs 196/2003). According to the same article the user has the right to ask for a deletion, the transformation in an anonymous form or the block of data if managed against the law, and can oppose in any case, for legitimate reasons, to their management. Art. 7 d.lg.s 196/2003 (Access right to personal data and other rights)


1. The user has the right to get the confirmation about the fact that his/her personal data exists or not, even if they are not yet stored, and to get them in intelligible form.

2. The user has the right to get the indication about:

a. personal data origin;
b. the scope and the details about data management
c. the applied logic in case data management is performed with electronic means
d. the data about the owner, the responsible people and the named representative according to article 5, comma 2;
e. the people or people category to which the personal data may be communicated or who may know them as named representative in the State territory, of responsible or appointed people.

3. The user has the right to obtain:

a. the updating, the correction or, if he/her has such interest, the data completion;
b. the cancellation, the transformation in an anonymous form or the block of data if managed againt law, including the ones for which the storage is not necessary for the scope by which they have been collected or afterwards managed;
c. the proof that the actions referred at a) and b) have been made visible, also for their content, to people to which the date have been communicated or diffused, with exception with the case such action is practically impossible or implies an usage of means disproportionate in respect to the protected right.

4. The user has the right to oppose, in toto or in part:

a. for legitimate reasons to his/her personal data management, even if in line with the scope of the collection
b. to his/her personal data management for the scope of sending advertising material or direct selling or for the completion of market research or commercial communication.
